Quite seriously, does anybody on my flist have a larger-than-average-size head and would like an awesome handknitted hat? I knitted it this weekend but it is too big for me :( Free to a loving head!

I has an extra large head, and it makens me sad. :( Knitting is really cool though! teehee. I'm trying to crochet, but everything I make comes out super small. Like doll-head small..

What is an average head? I fear I don't have an exceptionally large head, so can't help you there, sorry.

Aww, I wish, but I actually have a very small head. On the topic of knitting though, are there any knitting/yarn stores you would recommend? I'm about to turn the heel of my sock and am in need of stitch holders as well as size 2 dpns for when I'm done with the heel.

Milton Keynes is generally fairly devoid of well-stocked independent knitting shops. However I have found that Hobbycraft usually has something usable in a pinch :)

In happy news, I put the hat in the dryer and it shrank more and now it fits!
