Just hit 200 SGA recs on my del.icio.us. That is probably the most fic I have ever read for any one series EVER (although of course SG fandom is horrifyingly, wonderfully prolific and talented.)

So this morning I woke up and it was sunny and nice outside and it WASN'T COLD which was weird but lovely, and there were squirrels and blue tits playing happy animal games down in the courtyard below my window, I kid you not, it was like a sappy Disney movie where the heroine is just about to sing and all the woodland creatures join in and adore her etcetera, and while I am not a bad singer that is definitely not me, so who knows what was going on there?

I watched the first two episodes of The Dresden Files tv show, and the books are much better. I know they have to make it episodic but they changed quite a lot of things and basically it was kinda-but-not-quite rubbish, as in I'll keep watching it but grumble to myself about how much better the books are and how James Marsters should have done it like Jim Butcher wanted him to (though the current actor isn't bad, per se.)

I also watched the first episode of The Lost Room, which is AWESOME. It's a really interesting idea, and Dakota Fanning's little sister is in it and she's a great actress too, and SO GODDAMN CUTE. So basically watch it if you get a chance.

Yes, that was exactly my reaction to the Dresden Files though possibly I'll enjoy it more than you because I haven't read so many of the book and thus less to compare it to. I quite like the actor playing Harry though Bob creeps me out.

I understand WHY they did Bob like that, but I must admit, WEIRDO, GEEZ. He's not nearly streetsmart and lecherous enough, he's mostly old and freaky.

200? Wow! That is much with the impressiveness. I'm looking forward to reading all the ones I haven't got around to yet (which is probably about 150 of them. YAY!)

I'm looking forward to seeing the Dresden Files, although I don't expect them to be anywhere near as good as the books. These things never are. I do like the actor playing Harry though. He was awesome in season 3 of 24.

You stared in your own Disney film. Ha!

Oh, and I've sent you some disks. There are 4, and as long as my maths is relatively ok (ummmmm.......) then there should be plenty of room. If not, well, that's what email is for. It's not like I don't have more I can send you. If it ends up I've sent too many, doesn't matter. I owe you for season 2, esp as I could never give you Numb3rs season 2.

I got Season 2 of Numb3rs on dvd, and have watched it all and am working through season 3, so don't worry about it - it's not as though you did it on purpose, so I wasn't bothered by it :)

See, you're ahead of me now. I've not seen any of season 3, though to be fair it's all my fault for not getting my Internet all sorted out. It's not as though I didn't know I'd fall behind on all my favourite TV shows if I didn't get myself organised. I keep promising myself I'll sort it out tonight - and then never do.

Although, on the plus side, when it's summer and there's nothing to watch, I'll have loads of things to keep myself busy with. So you could say it's all planned out that way ;-)
