Me: I don't see the point unless you're proving that your country is better than somebody else's. But not in a 'die, you froggy scum' kinda way.
So, I'm a patriot. I like it when we're good at things. I'm wearing an 'England 66' t-shirt right now. I think that England has lost a lot of that because of how successful our culture has been all over the world - in practically every country, the English smart dress code of the suit is worn for important occasions; our language is the most used in the world; everyone is interested in our monarchy. We've basically passively-aggressively taken over the world, and lost our national identity in the process because everyone else has become just like us. Which, you know, kinda sucks a bit. Except for the part where we rule.
