In other news, the police launched a full-scale big game hunt after a tiger was seen sitting in a field just off the motorway, evacuating nearby cricketers and going after it with a helicopter and armed with enough tranquiliser to down an elephant.
The fact that the tiger was a lifesize stuffed toy was not discovered until it was blown over by the downdraft of the helicopter.
