I know I'm in my own world... it's okay, they know me here

Just thought you might like to know - I'm kinda vaguely writing again (for reals!! omg!!!11!1!!!!11!1) and, while I'm working on Jack of All Trades, or JoAT, I'm also kinda stirred up for Heal again and writing a new part.

I woke up this morning in the middle of a dream that was basically a novel and crambled out of bed to write it down before I could forget it all, because that's only happened to me once before and all the names and details were evaporating quicker than I could write, so you could say that I had to improvise a little. Nonetheless, I got enough done to start making up extra stuff, and so here is the beginning of what I hope will turn out to be a longer story.

It's more interesting, isn't it, to read a story in which the main character is abducted and trained by a mage who we know is bad than abducted and trained a little by a mage we know is bad then won in a card game by a mage who is nicer? Yes? No?
