taharielAmy's comment on Stargate Episode 2.08, 'Family' - how does one electric shock suddenly destroy all brainwashing?! I know some things in it are improbable, but this takes the biscuit!
My new job is lovely if menial - I like the place and the people, which is good. For the next five weeks I'm giving Dad's friend Campbell by Mon-Weds since I said I'd do some temp work for him, and Helen (my new boss) my Thurs-Sat (Saturday I take work home to do.) I feel bad about having to do that, but she's absolutely lovely and has no problem with that at all. Next Saturday I'm going to a basic course about the PMC where I get to play with it!
