Part of his was my reply to Claire, but I liked it, so...
I love rain. I like the smell after rain, the freshness of it, and the sound it makes on my window when I'm tucked up in bed. I like the way it bounces off my umbrella and even the trickle it makes down the back of your neck when your hair is saturated.
I like the subtle beading of leaves and the pattering of drops outside my house when we have the back door open. I like the patterns it makes on dry stone as it falls to wet it. I like the feeling when you're drying off and you're watching other wet people walk down the street outside.
I like rain ^-^
And I like storms. We used to play the Crystal Maze Game in powercuts, which was hard because you always lost the little catapulted ball in the candlelight. I wrote on a yr7 quiz about yourself that my favourite activity was powercuts *laugh*. I like doing stuff by candlelight and knowing you have to, not that you're just doing it for the hell of it.
But I kinda miss my Mum cursing the powercut...
