Tell me about it. If I'm honest I had already decided I can't afford to go to Beijing next year whatever happens, but this means my 'fallback fund' is about to get hit up sooner than expected.
I had sort of hoped to maybe go on a weekend somewhere wild and remote with that money, but it looks like that was a bit of a pipe dream.
