I had this really weird experience the other day. It was like knowing for sure I had a soul, because there was no way this body was actually me. It was just a container, something I wore like clothing. These hands do my bidding but they are not truly me. I am simply looking out through the eyeholes from behind, somewhere.

O_o I thought everyone got those all the time. I certainly do and at the weirdest times. Today, I walked across the length of my kitchen but felt like it wasn't actually me and that I was still standing at the threshold. Is that the kind of feeling you mean? Like an out-of-body expereince?

Not out-of-body - I was still in my body - but I wasn't connected to it, if that makes any sense. It was weird ^-^;;

Oh I think I know what you mean, I get them from time to time, like when you suddenly realise you could possibly leap out of your eyes or something... I dunno... perhaps it's not the same
but totally un-related and connected neatly with Emma's, I once went shopping and was levitating a foot above my body, it was quite surreal and magical...

anyway... it's a beautiful and scary feeling

Yeah I get them too. I used to get them a lot but they seem to happen less frequently now. Once when I was brushing my teeth I felt I was actulally in the mirror looking back at myself instead of in me. And sometimes when I'm trying to concentrate on something that is actually very boring I get disconnected in a way that is more than just day dreaming. It is very weird!

I have always felt that i have been riding around in my head. Once i was sure i managed to make an out of body jump - it was weird.
