Today's rec is a fic I found on my delicious when hunting something up for you guys, thought, 'huh, what's that?' and started to reread - then couldn't stop reading. I went to bed really late, you guys. I hope you appreciate my sacrifices at the altar of awesome fic for you.
It's an SG-1 fic, based around-about season 6 (but without Jonas), and it's really hard to explain why this fic is awesome without giving stuff away! It's Jack-centric, and long, and though it deals with a - difficult and slightly upsetting - situation (there is no sex in this fic, not that kind of difficult subject, it's not something I would classically expect to be warned for) Rydra_wong deals with it deftly and sympathetically, working through it to a satisfactory conclusion even though things can never be 'right'. I'm not going to say any more for fear of spoiling you, other than READ IT NOW. NOW. RIGHT NOW.
