Feb. 18th, 2006 04:44 pmI'm thinking about starting up a website in my spare time. It's something I enjoyed doing a few years back that has dropped by the wayside a bit, and I thought it might be fun. What I'm thinking of doing is a review site for books, mostly modern sci-fi/fantasy - stuff like Laurell K. Hamilton, the Dresden Files, that sort of thing. What I was wondering was whether:
a) people thought it was a good idea
b) anyone felt like helping out, doing some reviews etc.
I thought it might be helpful to steer people away from some of the god-awful stuff, like the 'Dark Hunter' series or whatever it was. (I shudder to think of the appallingness of some of the stuff I've read, hoping for a good read.)
Any thoughts?
