Today I am proud to be British. The way that we handled this attack as a public, with calm and good sense, along with a good dash of 'up yours', makes me proud. The emergency services did a wonderful job, and I'm sorry for all the people killed and injured, but to watch today - admittedly I was in front of the Sky News channel most of the day - was to see a nation that refuses to bend, and instead goes about its daily routine with heads held high.

Up yours, terrorists. Our buses are running and our trains are running and we will walk wherever we need to without fearing to tread where you tried to make us fear to tread.
