taharielI drop my mp3 player all the time and it's still fine. I guess I usually catch it by the earphones, which while they still unplug and it falls on the ground maybe slows the fall. The reason I mention this is because my Dad's cleaning up the playroom ('is that even possible?' ask those of you who have seen the playroom) and the little manual doodad turned up with a picture of not dropping your mp3 player. Which I think is funny.
My poor guinea pig baby... first he gets castrated, and now he's not drinking (though perhaps because he's eating cucumber, which is practically 100% water...), and today I found he has mites when I sat down to brush him. So we're all psychosomatically itching right now.

I got one message of encouragement on Irith, so thank you Hollie ^-^
