I just want to cry over how hopeless their situation is. Ugh Erik is caught between his two identities and Charles is, essentially, his prisoner who's just about given up and is basically just a shadow of his former self. He is stifled by his lack of freedom but then again it's not like has much of a choice.
Do you really think that after all this time, anybody is going to care what I said anymore? Surely they have bigger things to worry about than me.
AUGH CONFRONTATION! I REALLY LOVE IT. BURRNNN ERIK. But no, seriously, I love that Charles just snaps. Erik treats him like a pampered pet and Charles knows his concern/affection/what-have-you comes from a genuine place but he didn't exactly sign up for the sex (which is hot by the way unff but sort of happened eventually) and he's not so much against it but resigned to it? IDK this is me overthinking. I'm sure Charles really does care for Erik and sees he's a good man put in trying circumstances. BUT SO MUCH CONFLICT IS WITHIN CHARLES BASICALLY.
