It was...
I spent a long time after it finished feeling very quiet inside, because it affected me that much. It wasn't your typical superhero movie, and I'll admit it maybe could have done with a little more action, but with Superman he's either SUPER or Kryptonited. I just loved it because of how much it was about him and just the ache of it, his whole longing for Lois and the way he can never have her. One of the things I have always loved about Superman is the fact that Lois is in love with Superman, but not with Clark, and what that really means for him. It was... deep, in a way that really chimed with me. Inside my head I had a pseudo-fanfic monologue from Superman, like 'All I have ever tried to do is help you, and yet you do this to me.' I loved the thing with Lois' kid, too. I'm really non-spoilery myself, so I'm keeping details to myself. Suffice it to say that I will be buying it on DVD as soon as it comes out, and wouldn't say no to seeing it again if the opportunity comes up.
Also, saw the first episode of the third season of SGA and loved it, though it was a little predictable. RODNEY, you are my idol and I adore you. RONON... I really want to know where you keep that knife :D JOHN, you sit with Rodney and Zelenka at lunchtime! You secret geek! I love you! I bet you hang out in the labs all the time instead of with the other soldiers and play with mathematics XD
