Oct. 22nd, 2005 12:46 pmI PASSED MY DRIVING TEST! *does the happy la la dance* Whee! I can drive (by myself!) Okay, enough psychoness.
Last night I went to see KT Tunstall with Susan at the Shepherd's Bush Empire. It's a nice little concert hall - I think it used to be a theatre. Anyways, it was great. The supporting act was a guy called Ed Harcourt, and he was wonderful - one of his songs was about a murderous farmboy called Scatterbrains ^-^ KT Tunstall wore cowboy boots, a sparkly blue party dress, and played electric guitar. It was really off-kilter but she carried it off. The great thing was that she not only did songs from the album, but mixed things up a bit and played some songs we hadn't heard before, which is always good. You don't want everything to be all predictable, do you?
Going home alone on the train at night was scary, though. I didn't like it much, but I was okay. I won't do it too much, I don't think. I'm too paranoid. I made sure at every stop that I wasn't alone with any person or group of people in my carriage. There were some noisy annoying people, but they got off pretty quickly and they didn't bother me at all.
I'm going to anime club in London on the 6th, so if you can (and like anime, obviously), please go and we can all meet up to be dumb and have fun together ^-^
