*annoying sniff*

So yesterday I was all alone from 1pm 'til almost midnight because my Dad and Sister took Amelie to the airport then went at the last minute to a Chelsea home game. I was sick. Really nasty yucky sick. So I stayed in bed for a while, then went downstairs with my duvet and watched my Stargate SG-1 Season 1 boxset for almost seven solid hours. When you're sick, sci-fi is your friend. (Sci-fi is my friend all the time, but it's the sort of friend that doesn't say 'eew!' when you blow your nose and it makes a horrible noise.)

Today I'm quite a bit better - I can partially breathe now - and we've found me (and Lucy, I'll have to add, since the fact that she can't drive doesn't mean I don't have to call it 'our car'...) a really nice Clio that we're gonna buy pending a test drive (by my Dad) tomorrow. So coolio ^-^

I want more Stargaaaaate... I finished the boxset and it ends on a cliffhanger...

(Bizarre) Thought of the day: I may be covered in guinea pig hair, but it looks good on me.

By the way... (this is the 'I'm sick so I get to gloat to release endorphins to make me feel better' section) my newest fic on Schnoogle is getting reviews even before it's up on the main access page, so I'm happy ^-^ Look for it under my username in the Dark Arts - I'm 'tahariel' there as well.

For future reference:

'Blarg' is my descriptive new word for 'this sucks and it's a pain in the ass but I'll do it anyway because I'm dumb stubborn like that.' It can be used in many sentences in many contexts at will. Please remember the meaning of this word; one day I will take a biro and write it into the Oxford English Dictionary, because they will never agree to print it themselves so I'll have to take measures into my own hands.
