Ixnay on the Appreciation Day
May. 29th, 2005 02:08 pmWell, today was going to be 'Amy's friends appreciation day', but that was before I found out that my son-of-a-bitch Uncle Terry is leaving my Auntie June. (Auntie June is my father's sister.)
Apparently he's been having an affair with the lady across the street who has been around their house being friends with my Auntie. (Ex)Uncle Terry has always had high moral standards, but apparently they don't apply to him, the bastard.
He's always bullied my Auntie a bit anyway, but this - well. My cousin Sarah (the mother of the twins) went around while my auntie was at work and found him packing to leave, not planning on saying anything to her because he was too chicken-shit to do it. He'd said he was going to go away for a few days to sort himself out and end it with his mistress but apparently that's not quite true. I really want to kill him, the mewling pile of snot-ridden sputum.
My Auntie June is fifty-five years old and works part-time in a shoe shop. There's no way she could support herself all by herself, like paying her mortgage and stuff. My cousin Steve (who's always hated his Dad) is going to pay her bills, and Dad's going to pay off the mortgage (through Sarah, because Auntie June would never take money from him.)
I really hope she never takes him back. I'd hate to think he would get out of paying for the mortgage because we paid it off. And I'm not sure I could be civil to him even for Auntie June's sake if I ever saw him again. I feel right now like I could kick his ass, the coward, because I have something he doesn't - the courage to admit to things I do wrong rather than creeping away with my tail between my legs. I could smack him from here to Timbuctoo for this.
