I know I'm in my own world... it's okay, they know me here

Soooo... I got a new job! Yaaaay!

I went to Starbucks in Beaconsfield and got a new job, so I should be starting next week as a Barista ^-^ (Coffee smell, for some reason, no longer makes me feel sick, so cool!) It's £5.30 an hour, four 8-hour shifts a week which is fine, a free bag of coffee every week (so you lot can probably cadge some off me if you want some free coffee), free drinks while I'm working, 50% off food when I'm working, and 30% off everything when I'm not working. Also, most importantly, free parking, so that's an hour less I have to work before I make a profit (as in, at WHS, I had to work for an hour to pay off my parking fees before I made money!)

Also, I found my lost leather glove! It was in my car, shoved down the side of the seat. I must have dislodged it when I cleaned out my car yesterday, to find it today! Yaaay!

Although, bad luck was that the pool timetable was wrong online and I went to the pool and couldn't go swimming and I'd already paid for parking. Dammit.

Other good thing of the day: I had this great dream last night which was like a Kat-esque whole-novel-length-story dream. I wrote it all down as soon as I woke up, so I have it safe, and I'm thinking of writing it. It's a weird sort of fantasy/modern fusion type of thing (with a female main character! da-da-DAHN! That never happens in my stories!)

Today I went swimming for the first time in over a year. I really want to get fit, but I can't be bothered to go to the gym, and it's cheaper to go swimming. I think some of the swimming men had nice bodies, but I couldn't tell because I obviously can't wear my glasses when I'm swimming and squinting at their chests isn't exactly subtle. Anyway, now my hair smells wonderfully of chlorine (I like the smell, I'm not being sarcastic) and I feel happy because I know I'm doing something now rather than sitting around snacking all day. (That's something I'm trying to cut down on, too. Eat more fruit.)

Ah, also did writing. First time in a few days, actually, so it's nice to know I've done some. I was starting to worry about dissociating from the project (again. It's a bad habit of mine.) I've gone for the court case scenario, anyone who knows what I'm talking about. It'll be hard, but hopefully rewarding in the end. For now I'll just have to read up on court procedure and stuff.
