Sometimes I try to persuade myself I no longer love my book, and that it needs t go away on holiday to the sunny vacation spot of Charity Shop. But then I realise that I cannot afford to purchase expensive holidays for my book, and so i put it back on the shelf, where it will have to work a five-day week like the rest of us.
