Things and stuff, yo
Sep. 12th, 2010 02:17 pmSpent a lot of yesterday afternoon looking at job adverts and finding out how few I'm qualified for. A couple of good-sounding ones popped out too, of course, but it remains to be seen if anything pans out. Getting time for interviews is going to be a bitch and a half, too.
Naturally, this means it is time for a post full of links and videos of cool stuff!
First up: Float, Arthur, float! <-- seriously, go play with this, it's awesome!

Martin Freeman may be playing Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit (assuming it EVER gets off the ground, especially in light of the studio's financial troubles)
I just signed up for DailyBooth, a photo-a-day sharing comm site thing where you take a picture a day and tell people about what you've been doing. Does anyone else have one of these? I'm really enjoying it but I need more friends there!
And now for a Sherlock vid: I wasn't sure I liked this at first, and I'm really picky about vids for someone who can't make them. But the more I watched the more I loved the way the vidder uses the images and audio separately, using lines from one part of an episode to illuminate scenes from other parts. Very cleverly done.
