Examiners = fucktards
Jan. 18th, 2006 07:42 pmToday's P2 exam was AWFUL. Basically, because the maths syllabus changed year before last so that these are the last exams of their kind, they don't give a shit any more and so just picked all the questions they'd cut out before for being too hard and dumped them together to make an exam. It bore nothing in common with any of the exams that came before it so there was no way to prepare for it, and I bombed. My only hope is that the pass mark may be righteously low. EXAMINERS = RETARDED FUCKTARDS WHO JUST MADE MY LIFE SO MUCH HARDER AND I WANT TO HURT THEM.
On a brighter note (*laughs somewhat ironically*) I just read an absolutely fabulous book called Temeraire by Nicole Novik. Basically it's a retelling of the Napoleonic wars, but with a dragon-led Air Corps. So, so, so good. Amazingly well-written, fabulous characters - including the dragons, who talk :D) and wonderfully, wonderfully done. Her first novel, too, which is a) envious and b) annoying because I want to read more by her NOW. If you want to borrow it, please do! Otherwise buy it right now.
Will maybe do some writing when I've caught up on net time tonight; if so I will update this post with a word count.
