Poem: companionship

We can sit in the same
                                                room
            and not
                        touch
                                    speak
            interact at all; quite comfortable
sharing space between us, reading
different books and
                                    companionship without
            obligation to entertain

Thank you, hon (and - congratulations? I guess? :D ) Without approaching his brilliance it's a bit inspired by e.e. cummings, whose use of language and spacing I totally adore. I like using layout to tell people how it should be said and how long the pauses are. Plus it's fun to make it look pretty :)
