Well, I for one would. I mean, we talked about this in the car, and regardless of whether you're good at it or not, at the moment your job seems to upset you so much that if it were me, I'd question if it was the right thing to do and the place to be. I think the teaching plan is very good, and you could never be a loser for accepting that things didn't turn out as you thought and then rather than wallow in self-pity, you decide to work onwards from there.
Anyway, tl;dr, you should consider your happiness first and foremost, and if giving up this careerpath and following something else is the way to go, then you should do that ♥ *hugs* I certainly won't think any less of you for it :)
