really loved this - the writing felt so graceful, very spock. he's quite an artistic fellow, for (or maybe as) a scientist. this seemed very in-character, a nice inside view-point. the language is just perfect for him, a little formal, a little wordy, but graceful and clean. i love it.
...Spock, who was content when he left the Enterprise two days before and now was not. guh.

and then he goes out and gets it. ^_^
