So I might just be freaking out a little bit about leaving home for reals and starting a new job, this Sunday and Monday respectively. I had to pack to move today and have kind of put it off all day to avoid having to think about it, though my clothes are now packed; it's the Merlin convention in London this weekend, which I'm going to with ionaonie and staying at the hotel overnight Friday and Saturday.

It's a big change, and it doesn't help that I'm doing it all on my own, as my Dad is busy and has made no offer to come with me. I'm a big girl, and ought to be able to do it by myself, but I kind of want him to come with me to do it. It just feels wrong to be doing it all alone.

So! I think it may be time to use fandom as a distraction and avoid my emotional problems! Yay for fandom!

ETA: In other, unrelated news, my delicious now has 1801 fic recs on it. This is slightly disturbing in that I tag maybe between 1/5th and 1/10th of the fic I actually read. You do the math.
