Hon, I really wouldn't worry to much about it. I have, many times in my life had many people tell me to tone back the sarcasm. I'm not the most patient of people when I get something and others around me don't.

Sounds to me like she's just a little bit too thin skinned. And honestly, if she thought you were being a little bit too sarcastic then she should have said something earlier than she did.

And I doubt that there are that many people around who would spend time with someone they didn't like and would just not say anything about it. You get a few people like that, but, in my experience at uni, if people don't like you, they let you know pretty sharpish.

And it is possible that she was just having a really bad day and you ended up getting the brunt of it. Have a quiet chat with her if it's bothering you. I remember having to explain to a lot of people that 93% of what I said was sarcastic and I was only really being mean if I didn't laugh or grin afterwards.
